These terms apply to your use of Lifosys (“the app”), operated by Sudhir Ranjan (“we”, “us”). By using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Lifosys is a personal life-management app for tracking tasks, projects, habits, journal entries, finances, and health. It runs on your own device.
The app is a tool for recording and reviewing what you choose to record. It is not medical, psychological, financial, or legal advice, and nothing it displays should be treated as such. Decisions you take remain your own.
You are responsible for what you enter and for keeping your device secure.
Lifosys is intended for adults. To use it you must be old enough to enter into a binding agreement where you live, and in any case at least 18 years old. If you are not, please do not use the app.
You must also use the app in a way that is lawful where you are. We do not monitor what you write — we cannot, since it never reaches us — so this is your responsibility rather than something we enforce.
Certain features require a paid plan. Three are offered:

Prices are shown in your local currency inside the app and on the store’s payment screen before you confirm. They include any tax required where you live. The price you see at the moment of purchase is the price you pay.
All purchases are processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store. Your payment-card and payment-account details never pass through Lifosys and are never received by us. The app receives the purchase information it needs to determine and provide your entitlement, and stores that on your device.
Your purchase is also subject to the terms of the store you bought it from. Where those terms and these ones differ on matters the store controls — payment, billing, refunds — the store’s terms decide.
Monthly and annual plans renew automatically at the end of each period and are charged to the store account you purchased with. Renewal continues until you cancel.
You can cancel at any time in the Google Play Store under Subscriptions, or in your Apple ID settings. Cancelling stops future charges. You keep Pro until the end of the period you have already paid for.
We cannot cancel a subscription on your behalf — only the store can, because only the store holds the payment relationship.
Lifetime access covers every feature in Lifosys at the time you buy it, and all future improvements to those features — fixes, refinements, performance work, and support for new devices and operating system versions — for as long as the app is maintained.
Substantial new modules released in the future may be sold separately. If that ever happens, you will be told clearly before anything is charged, and nothing you already have will be taken away or reduced.
Lifetime is a one-time purchase. It is never re-charged and never renews.
Purchases are handled by the app store you bought from, and their refund policy applies. At the time of writing, Google Play offers self-service refunds within a short window after purchase, directly from the Play Store, with no need to contact us. Google sets that window and may change it, so check the Play Store for the current position.
Outside that window, write to us at the address below and tell us what happened. We will consider the request and, where a refund is warranted, ask the store to issue it — we cannot issue one ourselves, because we never held the payment.
Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time; you keep access until the current period ends. On Apple devices, refunds are requested through Apple rather than through us.
None of this affects any right to a refund you have under the consumer law where you live.
Nothing is deleted. Your entries, habits, finances, and health records stay on your device exactly as they were.
Pro-only screens become locked. Everything else continues to work, and the app keeps recording as normal. If you subscribe again, those screens unlock with your full history intact.
Your data is yours whether or not you are paying for anything. You can export it at any time.
Prices may change over time. If the price of a subscription you hold changes, the store notifies you before it takes effect and gives you the chance to cancel first. Existing lifetime purchases are never re-charged.
Introductory or promotional prices apply only for the period stated at the time of purchase.
Lifosys is provided as it is. We work to keep it correct and reliable, and we fix faults as we find them, but we cannot guarantee that the app will be free of errors or available without interruption.
Because your data lives on your device, we hold no copy of it and cannot recover it for you if your device is lost, damaged, or reset. Use the backup and export features in the app, and keep a copy somewhere safe.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the app, and our total liability for any claim relating to the app will not exceed what you have paid for it in the twelve months before the claim arose.
Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited, or excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
If we ever stop publishing or maintaining Lifosys, we will give as much notice as we reasonably can, through the app and on this website.
The app already on your device will keep working for as long as your operating system supports it. Your data stays where it has always been — on your device — and remains fully exportable. There is no server to switch off, and nothing you have recorded depends on us continuing to exist.
Active subscriptions would be cancelled so that no further charges are taken. If you hold Lifetime, there is nothing to cancel and nothing further to pay; the note in section 05 explains what that word can and cannot promise.
Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute the app, and do not attempt to circumvent payment for paid features. Do not use the app for any unlawful purpose.
The app and its contents remain our intellectual property; your entries remain entirely yours, and we claim no rights over anything you write.
If you breach this section, we may withdraw access to paid features. Because there is no account and no server, this is a limited remedy in practice — but we would rather state it than leave it unsaid.
How the app handles your information is set out in full in the Privacy Policy. In short: we do not operate a database holding your entries, there is no account, and nothing you write is uploaded automatically.
These terms may be updated. When they are, this page changes and the date at the top is revised. Material changes are also noted in the app’s release notes. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.
If a change materially reduces something you have already paid for, it will not be applied to that purchase.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Delhi have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
Nothing here removes protections available to you under the consumer law of the country you live in, or your right to bring proceedings in your local courts where the law gives you that right.
If you have a problem, please write to us first. Most things are quicker to resolve in an email than anywhere else.
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between you and us about the app.
We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to someone else — if the app changes hands, for example. If that happens it will be announced in advance, and it will not reduce what you have already paid for.
