This page explains how to delete everything Lifosys holds on your device, what is removed, what stays and why, and how long it takes.
This is the complete deletion path. It removes the data Lifosys stores on your device and disconnects your Google account from the app.
Every one of these is removed from your device immediately:
| Data | What happens |
|---|---|
| Tasks, projects, areas | Permanently erased |
| Habits and history | Permanently erased |
| Journal entries | Permanently erased |
| Photos, video, audio, documents | Files permanently erased |
| Financial records | Permanently erased |
| Health and wellbeing entries | Permanently erased |
| Name, email, profile photo | Removed from the device |
| Profile wall and quote | Permanently erased |
| Settings and preferences | Every preference store erased |
| Cached files | Permanently erased |
| Scheduled reminders | Cancelled before anything is erased |
| Google Drive access | Revoked — the app can no longer reach your Drive |
If you have made backups, they stay in your Google Drive. They are your files, in your account, and we cannot see or reach them. We deliberately do not delete them, so that an accidental tap on Delete Everything does not cost you your history.
To remove them: open Google Drive, search for files beginning with lifosys, and delete them. Or visit your Google account permissions and remove Lifosys entirely.
If the app has ever failed on your device, a technical crash report may have been sent to Firebase Crashlytics. These reports are retained under Google's own retention policy — currently up to 90 days — and are then deleted by Google.
A crash report contains the technical details of the failure: where in the code it happened, your device model, operating system version, app version, an identifier for that installation, and a handful of short technical labels listed in full in the Privacy Policy. No entry you have written is attached to it — no journal text, no habit or task names, no financial amounts, no health entries, no photos, no name, and no email address.
The installation identifier tells one device's crash reports apart from another's. It is not linked to your name, your email address, or anything you have written, and we do not use it to identify you.
If you have bought anything, the record of that transaction is held by Google Play or the Apple App Store under their own policies. Lifosys never sees or stores your payment details. Cancellation and refund conditions are set out in the Terms of Service.
If you have written to us for support, that correspondence sits in our mailbox like any email. We keep it only as long as we need it — to answer you, to finish investigating a fault, and to keep a reasonable record of what was said. Ask us to delete a thread and we will.
Uninstalling Lifosys removes its private app data from your device. There is nothing left for us to delete, because there was never a copy on our side.
Two things may remain, and both are entirely in your own hands:
Files you exported yourself are wherever you saved them, and are removed the same way as any other file on your device.
If you would like us to confirm in writing that we hold no data about you, or you have any question about deletion, write to us:
We reply to deletion requests within 7 days. In almost every case the reply will confirm that there was nothing to delete, because Lifosys holds no copy of your information — but you are entitled to ask, and to have that in writing.
Most apps need a long deletion process because your data is sitting on their servers, spread across databases and backups, and removing it takes time and coordination.
Lifosys was built the other way round. There is no hosted account, no database of users, and nothing of yours waiting on a machine we own. Your life is on your phone, which means deleting it is a decision you make and execute yourself, in seconds, without asking anyone’s permission.
